We begin our day at the particularly sacred Luhur Batukaru Temple, dating back to the 11th century, situated about 800 meters above sea level, directly on Mt. Batukaru.

Together, we embark on a roughly 2-hour hike through untouched nature, away from well-trodden paths and tourist crowds, including a river crossing and a jungle picnic.

We explore a breathtaking, hidden waterfall – an oasis far from the tourist streams, perfect for a refreshing swim.

We drive through the Jatiluwih region (UNESCO World Heritage) for a photo stop, showcasing some of the most beautiful rice terrace formations you’ll ever see.
