It’s a once-in-a-lifetime journey into the spiritual and natural wonders of Bali. Exclusively available to Balikaru guests, this adventure offers:
Relish traditional Balinese snacks and fresh fruits during your trek, just like the locals do on a lost place, which was used by locals years ago.
Surrounded by jungle and deep gorges, we stop at the idyllic mountain rice field of a family from the village. In good weather, you can see the sacred Mt Batukaru right in front of you and feel like you can touch it. And if the family is working their rice terraces, there are hundreds of extra photo opportunities.
A sacred place, deep in the forest, where the clear spring water runs over moss like pearls in a fairy-tale forest, where two small forest shrines await for ceremonies, we pay our respects to the forest spirits with our offerings. A place to bathe in the clear mountain stream afterwards, take a cool shower under the springs or simply enjoy, meditate or find moments of inner peace.
We may encounter locals harvesting bamboo deep in the forest, hike past abandoned forest dwellings and trek along old Subak trails.
